75% of users never scroll past the first page of search results.

Blogging is a great way to increase your Search Engine Optimization (SEO), because it gives your business more opportunities to be found sooner.

ladderIn fact, business to consumer (B2C) companies that blog get 88% more leads per month, and business to business (B2B) get 67% more leads per month. Don’t let your competition get the jump on you, start your blog immediately. How, you wonder? By writing about what you know.

• Post topics related to your business offering, or about a topic that would interest your customers.
• Make sure your blog posts are easy to read. Use pictures, graphics, and colors.
• Use key words that are relevant to your business offering.
• Back up your posts with statistics and/or other cited sources.
• Be creative when it comes to your titles: you want to stand out!

If you don’t feel confident creating a blog of your own, post on other blogs. Answer questions on blogs that are related to your field of business, or post on a blog that is in the same industry as you.
