Beautification and Community Enhancement as a part of the Strategic Goals:

DDRG’S strategic goals tie in some way to parts of all four of our core values. We have developed “Performance Outcomes” related to those core values in which DDRG will deliver a value-add service to the community, and “Performance Means” – what is necessary to achieve the Performance Outcomes. DDRG has structured its core work plan according to these roles, which are organized along committee and Board structure:

It’s all about curb appeal. DDRG is committed to attracting investors, visitors, businesses, and residents to Downtown DuBois; if they see small-scale improvements and attractive surroundings, it will lead to large scale investment, and ultimately increased property value and tax revenues, plus community pride.

Implementation Goals

  • Identify and provide funding for façade improvements to individual businesses in downtown as funds are available. Administer application process and recipient compliance.
