standard-title Fleet

Fleet

Thanks in large part to donations & membership dues, we are able to maintain a variety of well equipped vehicles in our fleet. That means that we have the specialized equipment needed to respond to any medically necessary or emergent scenario that we are called for. Our members and our business partners can have total confidence in our fleet, and thus our ability to respond as needed to any given situation.

2011 Chevrolet G4500 Type III Ambulance and Bariatric Unit (43-51)

Our Bariatric unit is a medium duty ambulance. It has a winch, ramp, and a wider stretcher than our other vehicles. We use this unit when called to transport those over 500 lbs. A bonus is that it is made to travel longer distances, so longer rides can still be made comfortable.

2014 Ford E350 Type III Ambulance Patient (43-52)

This vehicle is one of our standard duty ambulances.  As with all of our units, it is a licensed for Advanced Life Support.

2013 Chevrolet G4500 Type III Ambulance (43-53)

This unit is another one of our vehicles that is on the large side, and is made for longer distances.  It has been to Pittsburgh countless times, which is where most of our travels take us.

2015 Ford E350 Type III Ambulance (43-54)

A standard use ambulance, this unit and all of our other units have the same top of the line equipment inside of them, so no matter which vehicle our patients ride in, they are getting the same top quality care all of our other patients get.

2009 Chevrolet G3500 Type III Ambulance Patient Compartment Features (43-55)

Another standard use but top quality ambulance; this unit (along with our other units) rides equipped with hydrolic stretchers.  These stretchers help us keep jarring and jostling to a minimum for smooth lifts and transports.

2013 International Terra Star Type III Ambulance (43-56)

This is a heavier duty unit that frequently travels out of the local area. Next to another of our standard units, it’s easy to see the difference in size, inside and out.

2011 Chevrolet Tahoe ALS Squad (Interceptor 43)

The Advanced Life Support Squad vehicle is often taken by our paramedics in support of other area ambulance services. Because it can be taken by one person (our ambulances require two person teams), it also helps us use our resources wisely.

2015 & 2013 Dodge Caravan wheelchair van and stretcher van (WCV 1 & WCV 2)

We have two P.U.C. licensed wheelchair vans and stretcher vans for your transport needs at an affordable rate. Is your loved one not able to tolerate sitting in a wheelchair and is more comfortable laying down? Then maybe a stretcher van transport is best for him or her.
